Steamed Vegetables tossed in Herbs

An easy to prepare and healthy dish.

Time Required: 20 Minutes

Ingredients:
1 Cup Cauliflower Florets
1 Cup String Beans, cut into 1” pieces
2 Carrots, Peeled and Chopped
1 Potato, Peeled and Chopped
½ Cup Shelled Peas
1tsp Dried Basil Leaves
1tsp Dried Oregano Leaves
1tsp Red Chili Flakes
1 Onion, Chopped Finely
2 – 3 Garlic Pods, Crushed (Optional)
1tbsp Olive Oil
Salt to taste

Method:
Steam Cauliflower, Beans, Carrots, Potato and Peas for 6 – 7 minutes. Heat Oil and add Onion and Garlic and sauté for a minute. Add Basil, Oregano and Salt and stir. Add the steamed Vegetables and Chili Flakes and toss. Remove to a serving dish and serve with bread.
