Methi Mutter Malai – Fenugreek leaves and Peas Recipe – Methi Matar Malai

Methi Mutter Malai

Methi Mutter Malai is a side dish prepared using Fenugreek leaves, Green fresh Peas and Cream with a dash of spices.

Time Required: 30 Minutes

Ingredients:
1 big bunch Methi / Fenugreek leaves, Washed and chopped
1 cup Green Peas, Boiled
1 Onion, Chopped
1tsp Ginger – Garlic paste
2tsp Red Chili Powder
1tsp Aamchur / Dry Mango Powder
½ tsp Cinnamon Powder
Half cup Cream
3 tbsp Oil
Salt to taste

Method:
Heat Oil in a thick-bottomed pan.  Add Onion and Ginger-Garlic paste and sauté for a minute.

Add Methi and stir for a minute.

Add Peas and stir.

Add Chili Powder, Aamchur, Cinnamon, Salt, and Cream and mix well.  If the consistency is too thick, add half cup water and cook for two to three minutes.

Remove Methi Mutter Malai to a serving dish and serve hot with your choice of Indian Bread.
