Alu Gobi – Aloo Gobi Recipe – Potato Cauliflower Recipe

A very popular Punjabi side dish prepared using Potatoes and Cauliflower.

Time Required: 20 Minutes
Serves: 4

Ingredients:
1 medium sized Cauliflower
3 Potatoes, Peeled and Chopped
2 Onions, Sliced
2 Tomatoes, Sliced
2 Green Chilies, Slit
2 – 3 tbsp Oil
½ tsp Jeera / Cumin Powder
1tbsp Dhania / Coriander Powder
1tbsp Chili Powder
½ tsp Aamchur / Dry Mango Powder
Coriander for garnishing
Salt to taste

Method:
Chop Cauliflower into big florets and keep it aside. Heat Oil in a Kadai / pan and add Green Chilies, Onions, Tomatoes and sauté for 2 minutes. Add Potatoes and Cauliflower and stir-fry until they are tender. Add Salt and stir. Remove to a serving dish and garnish with Coriander. Serve hot with Phulka or Paratha.
