Spaghetti in Marinara Sauce

Spaghetti in Marinara Sauce

The best to make children eat vegetables is to add some to their favorite Pasta.  The Marinara Sauce has a tomato base and any sauteed vegetable of your choice can be added to this sauce.

Time required: 30 Minutes

Ingredients:
1 Pack Spaghetti
1 tsp Chili Flakes
1 tsp Herbs
Cheese cubes, Grated
Few fresh Basil Leaves

For the sauce:
1 Cup Tomato Puree
Few cloves Garlic
1 Capsicum, sliced
Few Olives, sliced
Leek, sliced
2 tbsp Olive Oil

Method:

Heat water and add a teaspoon of Oil. 

Add Spaghetti and cook till al dante.

Sieve and keep aside.

Heat Oil and add Garlic and stir.  Add Leek and Capsicum and saute for a minute.

Add Tomato Puree and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.

Add grated cheese and mix. Add Salt, Herbs, and Chili Flakes and mix.

Add cooked Spaghetti and toss gently.  You can serve Spaghetti and the sauce separately.

Remove to a serving dish and garnish with Fresh Basil.

Serve hot with Garlic Bread and Salad.
