Kaddu Palak Paratha – Pumpkin and Spinach Indian Bread

Pumpkin and Spinach flat bread

Indian bread with Sweet Pumpkin and Spinach.

Time Required: 30 minutes

Ingredients:
1 Cup grated Kaddu / Sweet Pumpkin
1 Cup Chopped Spinach
1½ Cups Wheat Flour
1 tsp Chili Powder
2 Green Chilies, Chopped finely
1 tsp Ginger, grated
Oil for roasting
Salt to taste

Method:
Mix all the ingredients except for Oil. Add water and bind to a dough.

Divide into balls.

Roll out each ball on a floured surface into concentric circles.

Put the paratha on a Tava / Flat pan.

Add Ghee, Butter, or Oil over the top.  After a minute turn it over.

Add Ghee, Butter, or Oil again and turn.

Remove and serve hot with Raitha, Vegetables, and Pickles.
