Carrot Paratha

Indian bread stuffed with Carrot.

Time Required: 20 Minutes

Ingredients:
1½ Cup Grated Carrot
2 Cups Wheat Flour
Oil for roasting
¼ tsp Hing / Asafoetida
1tsp Black Salt
1tsp Chili Powder
1tsp Jeera / Cumin Powder
Salt to taste

Method:
Mix Carrot, Hing, Black Salt, Chili Powder, Jeera Powder and Salt and keep it aside. Mix Wheat flour with water and Salt to a dough. Divide into balls. Roll out each ball on a floured surface to a concentric circle. Spread a spoonful of Carrot mixture on one half of the circle.

Close with the other half and press the edges. Roll the rolling pin slightly over it.

Roast on both sides with Oil.

Serve with Sabzi / side dish or Raitha / Kadhi or Pickle or Chutney.
