Rangoli 5 – Yagneshwarana Nalige

Happy Ramanavami.

In Mysore during festivals the streets would be beautifully decorated with huge rangolis / patterns drawn using chalk powder.  Some rangolis would be drawn freehand with single line, some with double line and some with dots.  Even now you can find rangolis being drawn in front of every house in South India.  Drawing rangolis in front of the house is a very important part of South Indian culture.

Enjoy drawing the  rangoli given below.  This Rangoli is known as Yagneshwarana Nalige / Fire god’s tongue!
