This is a Do It Yourself post to make Pineapple Lamp Shade. Pineapple Lamp Shade falls under the broader category of Fruit Carving / Vegetable Carving and can be used when you have guests visiting you at home.
Materials Needed for making Pineapple Lamp Shade:
1 ripe Pineapple
Knife
A small bulb connected to a switch or battery operated
Method:
Step1: Cut off the stem (not the leaves side) of the pineapple to make it stand.
Step2: Scoop out the pulp from the bottom of the pineapple. (Picture1)

Step3: Cut the leaves portion to make it a lid. (Picture2 – left) Turn in the ends of the top portion leaves leaving the lower leaves as they are. (Picture2 – right)

Step4: Remove the eyes alternatively to reveal holes in the pineapple. (Picture3)

Step5: Place a small bulb on an elevated surface and place the pineapple shade over it. (Picture4)

It makes a pleasant arrangement on your buffet table or along with a fruit arrangement. Use the scooped out Pineapple pulp to prepare Pineapple Sajjige or Pineapple Gojju.
