Eggless Strawberry Pastry

Following is the method to convert the Strawberry sponge cake into a pastry.

Time Required: 40 Minutes

Ingredients:
1 Strawberry Sponge Cake
150 gms Whipping Cream
2 Cups Sugar Syrup
¼ Cup Strawberry Crush
½ tsp Strawberry Essence
Few drops of Pink Color

Method:
For the whipped cream:
Whisk the whipping cream with the electric hand beater till it becomes stiff and forms peaks.


Divide the whipping cream into two parts. To one part add color and essence to the whipped cream and mix well.


Keep in refrigerator until the other preparations are complete.

For the pastry:
Slit the sponge cake into 2 or 3 layers.


On the last layer, sprinkle sugar syrup to wet the cake.


Take the white whipped cream and using a palette spread the cream on the cake layer.


Take a spoonful of Strawberry crush and spread it on the cream. Place the middle later of the cake on top of the cream and repeat the process of spreading cream and Strawberry crush.


Place the top layer and sprinkle sugar syrup. Spread whipping cream evenly on top and all around the cake.


Put the colored whipped cream in a piping bag and decorate the cake.

You can used Strawberry sticks or Chocolate vermicelli to decorate the cake.
