- Here is another tip to clean silver vessels – Boil water and add salt and a tsp of baking soda into it. Put the silver article in the boiling water along with a piece of aluminum foil. Remove after few minutes for sparkling silver article.
- New cotton clothes during first wash often bleed, to avoid this, soak them in a liter of water mixed with 1/4 cup of salt and 1/4 cup of vinegar.
- Bringing shine to brass items can be a pain, soak the brass items in water mixed with tamarind juice or Lemon juice and salt for half an hour. Remove and scrub to get the right shine.
