April 2019 Hints are as follows:

  • To prepare soft Idlies and crisp Dosas, the measurement of rice and urad dal should be in the ratio of 3:1 and also add a  tsp of Fenugreek seeds and 3 tbsp Arhar Dal / Pigeon Peas.
  • The consistency of the Idli or Dosa batter should be fluffy and the batter must be able to slide out of the spoon easily as you mix the batter.
  • While grilling vegetables with sauce or Tikkis, place an aluminum foil over the spillage rack to collect the drippings.
