Koshimbir

This is a salad prepared in Maharashtrian style. Very tasty and nutritious.

Time Required: 10 Minutes

Koshimbir

Ingredients:
1 Cucumber, Peeled and chopped
1 Onion, Chopped
1 Tomato, Chopped
3 tbsp Roasted and Peeled Groundnuts, Crushed
1 Green Chilies, Chopped
Juice of ½ Lemon
2 sprigs Coriander leaves, Chopped finely
Salt to taste

Koshimbir

Method:
Mix all the ingredients together and serve.

    If you can share authentic food joints where Karanataka vegetarian (typical Brahmin) food is served. Joints could be around Banagalore, Karnataka or even Mumbai will do.

    I am sure food arrangements are also possible in interior village in Karnataka. E.g. Suppose if I plan to visit Kurtakoti or Gadag etc. So I am expecting typical food there in villages etc.

    In Gadag, there are many vegetarian restaurants like Kamat, Shanbag, etc. whereas, in Kurtakoti there are none.
