This a dish from Kerala, South India. Rice flour and Cocnut layers are steamed in a Puttu maker called as Puttu Kutti.
Time Required: 15 Minutes
Serves: 2
Ingredients:
2 Cups Rice
1 Cup Grated Coconut
1tsp Sugar
½ tsp Crushed Jeera / Cumin Seeds

A popular Kerala curry prepared using Black Chik pea and a perfect accompaniment to Puttu and Appam.
Time Required: 20 Minutes

Ingredients:
2 Cups Soaked Black Chik Peas / Kadale / Channa
1 small Onion, Chopped finely
2 – 3 Cloves
